If lighthouses are your thing, there are three to choose from! Did you know that every lighthouse emits a distinctive series of flashes known as its ‘characteristic’ These flash sequences allow ship captains to time intervals between flashes so that they can identify lighthouses, using a publication called the Light List.
There are beautiful fynbos trails, maritime museums, ancient fish traps and tidal pools that we also visit, based on your preferences.
Day 3:
After breakfast we depart your accommodation for a beautiful meander through an ancient Milkwood forest and a walk along the famous Hermanus cliff path.

The beach is pristine, remote and has the most incredible rock formations. Our team will meet you at the end and take you to your next accommodation for sundowners and dinner.
Day 3: (4 km)
Today is a sea day and includes a boat trip with a marine biologist, learning about, and possibly seeing the Marine Big 5! You will then visit a penguin sanctuary and a world famous light house. Back home to relax, sundowners and dinner.

After breakfast, head along an incredible coastal path along the eastern side of Walker Bay, overlooking the azure ocean. This path is the best land-based whale watching in South Africa. Lunch, followed by a walk down to the world famous Klipgat Cave. This is an incredible archaeological site with spectacular limestone rock formations around the entrance, and breathtaking views over Walker Bay.
